Below are the summary of some of the leadership articles I found last week.
The Culture to Cultivate
This article is about instilling a culture of continuous improvement. The author mentions that their culture "lets our employees know that if they see a way to do something better, they should take the initiative to point it out". This gives his employees permission to act.
The author uses a great phrase in the article: "the collective pursuit of continuous improvement". You cannot improve things one your own. You need everybody focused on the same goal.
3 Proven Ways Genuine Leaders Build Trust
I don't like the term "genuine leader", but otherwise agree with the article that leaders need to build trust. The author suggest the following 3 ways to help us build trust in our organisations:
7 Scientifically Proven Habits Of Charismatic Leaders
I would prefer to substitute "charismatic" with "passionate". The 7 habits are:
Don't try and follow these 7 habits. Have a clear vision (the why) that will bring out the passion - that is a brilliant start.
